Dizzit is committed to respecting your privacy. We do our best to be clear and transparent in regards to the information collected with your use of http://dizzit.co (the “Site”) and our services through the mobile applications (“App”). We will only collect, use, and disclose your information as set forth in this Privacy Policy. To make this Privacy Policy easier to read, the Site, our services and App are collectively called the “Services”.

We may revise this Privacy Policy from time to time, and we will post the most current version on our Services. If a revision meaningfully reduces your rights, we’ll let you know either by posting the modified Privacy Policy on the Services or through other communications. This Privacy Policy doesn’t apply to any third-party websites, services or applications that can be accessed through our Services.

The Information We Collect

Account: When you register for an App account with us, we collect personal information such as your name, phone number and email address.

WE DO NOT COLLECT THE INFORMATION CONTAINED IN YOUR WHOLE ADDRESS BOOK. The only contact information (such as names, addresses, emails, and phone numbers) we will collect will be the ones you decided to share with other Dizzit members.

Services: When you use our Services, we collect information that your mobile device sends like a device identifier, user settings, network provider, the operating system, as well as information about your use of our Services.

Site: We collect certain information that your web browser sends when you visit our Site, like the Internet Protocol (IP) address, browser, referring/exit pages and URLs, pages viewed, and other such information about your use of our Services.

Third Parties: We may use Google Analytics or other providers to collect the information sent by your mobile device or browser. Please note, their use of your information will be governed by their privacy policies and terms.

Why We Collect This Information

We use the information we collect to provide our Services. For example, in order to share a contact file to another member, we will necessary need to access this contact personal information. Additionally, we use the information to process and complete any transactions, to respond to inquiries, to personalize and improve our Services and your service experiences, to monitor and analyze usage and trends of our Services, to send you administrative messages regarding the operation and use of our Services, and for any other purpose for which the information was collected.

Who We Share It With:

First and foremost, your personally identifiable information (“Your Information”) is yours and we will not sell it to advertisers or third parties. We may share information in the following cases:

As Instructed: We will share information about you when you instruct us to do so, such as when you connect with others through our Services or if we notify you that the information you provide will be shared in a particular manner and you provide such information.

Service Providers Working for Us: We use certain trusted third party service providers to help us provide, improve, protect, and promote our Services. These third parties may access your information only to perform tasks on our behalf and in compliance with this Privacy Policy (for example text messaging for phone number validation)

Research: We may use aggregate non personally identifiable data for the purpose of research and analysis. We may collect anonymized information about users preferences and usage patterns. When researching data, we remove any personally identifiable information (like name, number, email address, etc.) prior to conducting the research. We may share or resell anonymized research data with our partners.

By Law: We may share information about you if we believe we are required by law (such as a subpoena, warrant or court order), if we have to respond to a lawful request from legal authorities to disclose such information, or if we need to enforce or apply this Privacy Policy, our Terms of Service or our other policies.

In a Sale of the Company: We may transfer and/or provide user information in connection with an acquisition, sale of company assets, or other situation where user information would be transferred as one of our business assets.

Note regarding children: We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If we learn that we have collected personal information of a child under 13, we will take steps to delete such information from our files as soon as possible.

It is Your Information:

Access to your Information: We believe that your information is yours and you always have the power to choose not to share Your Information with us or to remove Your Information from our Services. If you would like us to remove Your Information from our system, please contact us by emailing us at contact[at]dizzit[dot]co. We will use reasonable efforts to honor your request; however, we may retain an archived copy of your information as required by law and/or for record keeping purposes. Please note that if you choose to remove information you might not be able to use some of our Services.

Security: We employ administrative, physical and electronic measures designed to protect your information from unauthorized access, however, despite these efforts, no security measures are perfect or impenetrable and no method of data transmission can be guaranteed against any interception or other type of misuse. In the event that your personal information is compromised as a result of a breach of security, we will promptly notify you if your personal information has been compromised, as required by applicable law.

International users: Your information will be transferred to and maintained on computers located in the United States (or any other country where we operate) and processed there – by providing us with your information, you are agreeing to that transfer.
